USEFUL INFORMATION : Details
to be taken into account 1) Flights: You must schedule your roundtrip flights from your own city to Buenos Aires and to Santiago del Estero airport. Whereas, if you chosee our Special Promotion you will buy your ticket from Buenos Aires to Santiago del Estero too (according to the chosen schedule). Airplane tickets are not included in our Special Promotion. 2) Reception: Hunters will be met by members of our staff at the Buenos Aires International Ezeiza Airport where we will help them thru customs for the temporary permit for sporting arms into this country. Then we will transport them to the domestic airport for the flight to their scheduled hunting zone. 3) Documents: All passengers must have a current passport and the Consular authorization to import firearms into Argentina. In order to get this permisson the hunters must go to the nearest Argentine Consulate with their passport, the arms data and their hunting license. A permit may be needed too reimport the arms to their home country. A visa is not necessary for American and European citizens. For other details it ts recommended to consult with the nearest Argentine Consulate. 4) Climate and Clothing: Our hunting area has a subtropical climate, with temperatures between 50 °F and 70 °F in winter (June, July and August ) but with cold nights (26 °F). In consequence it is advisable to include warm clothes and leather boots. In Autumn and Spring, temperature shifts between 50 °F and 80 °F day time and lows to 32 °F at night. In Summer (December, January and February) temperature is higher , reaching 100 °F with frequent rains. That is why we advise to bring very light clothes that cover arms and legs ( due to insects), appropriate shoes for and boots for walking and for wet areas. 5) Lodging: Hunters will be lodged in very comfortable private county houses or hotels. 6) Meals: They include Continental or American breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals will be prepared by our exclusive Chef, who can prepare delightful, varied menus, with natural very fresh ingredients, excellent meat, noodles, vegetables and fruit. Fine wine of first quality and flavor as well as Beer, fruit juice and aperitif. If it were necessary for health reason, our chef will prepare a special diet (This must be asked for, before hand). 7) Companions: If a client wants to come with a companion, they are welcome and will be able to enjoy some unforgetable days of pleasure walking and relaxing. 8) Arms and Munitions: For small game: (Wing shooting) double barrel shotgun and/or semiautomatic shotgun. Big Game: For Peccaries, Brocket Deer (Guazuncho), Puma, etc. we recomend .223 caliber or larger with or without telescopic sight . For Red Deer, Axis, Wild Boar, Antelope, caliber .308 win. or larger, with telescopic sight for distance shooting. For India Buffaloes, caliber .375 H.H. or larger. We stress the importance of using your own weapons, if not we can provide them. 9) Methods of hunt: Doves pass shooting. Pigeons and Ducks over Decoys in farm fields or swamps, performing wing shots. Partriges and rabbits, walking in farm fields with pointers and retrievers. Big Game, in wait in post or “chase” according to the species. 10) Vaccinations: They are not necessary, neither against Malaria nor Colera. 11) License or Permits: The hunt license is obtained, when hunters arrive. In the case of Wingshooting it is $150 per week. The license for Big Game costs US $300 and US $150 for the sealed strap for each animal . 12- Dorado Fly fishing: The fly casting equipment size from 8 to 10 is need for this fish. The fishing to realize with big streamers, we are provided and this are not included in the price. The big steamers price is U$s 3 per one. |
